Forget LVM…

Lvm is complete junk, im now using RAID0, it actually partitions correctly. I also tried Edgy Alternate install on the dual proc, and something is wrong with the edgy drivers for the Matrox 550. So im currently installing dapper, hopefully it will work. I cant wait for the next LTS.

news

Currently waiting for installation of Ubuntu on the dual proc, so i took some time to look at he Power over Ethernet injector/receiver i have been working on. I still need to go to radioshack to get those DC power plug/socket. (yes i do hate radioshack because the people working there don’t know very much about electronics, but where else are you going to get a coax power adapter?)

P3s

well, the two p3s are here. One is a dual proc 550 MHZ with 768mb RAM, the other is a single p3 ?mhz, and ?mb ram (512 probably).

I havent turned on the later, because it weighs a lot! Preceding with LVM array.

Well The current events.

Im going to get two p3 computers one dual processor from a friend, and mess around with them, probably putting ebox on them to use for our router. I  have been experimenting with ebox in vmware, and i think its time to move to real hardware. I usually use ubuntu, but debian is good too.
